"Palantír" has been a project by composer/audio engineer Christian Schimmöller since 1991. In Tolkien's fantasy world
"Palantír" is translated as "what glances at the very distant" and is the name for an ancient crystal ball that can be used to look at distant places and for telepathic communication with remote persons. For me music can also have this ability.
Palantir pioneered 3D-audio in 2000.
